ANNA HOLLYMAN

Co-head of Policy & Places, UK Green Building Council (UKGBC)

Anna Hollyman is Co-Head of Policy & Places at UKGBC alongside her colleague Jo Wheeler.  Their remit covers leading UKGBC's advocacy work with National and local government, and leading UKGBC's Regenerative Places Programme

The 'Regenerative Places Framework for Housing' (which is currently out for consultation) explores how home retrofit and housing-led regeneration can be a catalyst to unlock wider benefits to communities, and how we can shift our approach to value in place-based development, towards embedding more regenerative outcomes.

Anna also led UKGBC's work on Commercial Retrofit, publishing a report on the cost and carbon impact on Retrofitting Offices. Anna is a qualified architect with over 20 years’ experience in the UK and internationally (China and Dubai), leading the design and delivery of diverse projects from biophilic interiors, to public sector projects, and mixed-commercial developments.
