Munib Madni is the Chief Executive Officer of the FAST-P Asia Pte Ltd, overseeing the strategic direction and execution of Financing Asia’s Transition Partnership (FAST-P), a blended finance initiative launched by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. FAST-P brings together international public, private and philanthropic partners to support Asia’s decarbonisation and climate resilience.
Prior to this appointment, Munib was the Founder, CEO and CIO of Panarchy Partners, Singapore’s first B Corp certified fund manager. In his capacity, he developed “Panvesting”, a holistic investment philosophy that extends beyond traditional ESG by integrating financial, human, social and environmental capital.
Munib previously spent close to 14 years at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he served as CIO of Asia Equity and co-Portfolio Manager for a US$14 billion global mandate. During his tenure, he managed diverse investment teams, engaged with hundreds of global CEOs, policymakers and asset owners, and helped embed sustainability principles into the firm’s strategies. His early career began in Sydney with Aberdeen Asset Management and Equitilink.
Munib is a CFA Charterholder with a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the National University of Singapore. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance (First Class Honours) from the University of Technology, Sydney. In addition, he is a certified Gallup Strengths, Leadership Circle Profile and ICF accredited coach. Munib is an endurance athlete, having completed ten marathons and summited New Zealand’s highest peaks, and he remains passionate about arts and community initiatives.
