A social entrepreneur by deed and aspiration, a chemical engineer by education, and a dreamer aiming towards food security, rural development, and absolute financial independence for women farmers.

Born in the Himalayas and raised in Bombay she has been actively involved in rebuilding communities affected by natural calamities – she tried political activism before turning an entrepreneur.

She believes in providing scientific solutions to the most challenging problems of rural India, hence founded Science for Society - now S4S Technologies - with a group of college friends.
